Personal Data

Some of the services offered on the http://lol.univ-catholille.fr/ and  https://inscription-portail.univ-catholille.fr/ websites require the processing of personal data.

Personal information is collected for the following purposes:

  • On-site authentication for access to online resources
  • Processing a request via the inter-library loan form, suggest a purchase form or reserve an item form.


The personal data from the forms are deleted within one month for the reservation requests and once a year for inter-library loan and purchase suggestion requests.

Personal data useful for authentication on the website for access to electronic resources are deleted at the expiry of the rights or after two years without connection to the site.

Privacy Policy

The Vauban University Library is committed to preserving the confidentiality of the information provided online by the internet user. Any personal information that the internet user transmits to the  Vauban University Library for the use of certain services is subject to european regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, and to the law "Informatique, Fichiers et Libertés" n ° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 amended.

Request correction of your personal data

The internet user has a right to access, rectify and delete his personal information. He can exercise his rights at any time, by writing to the address contact-bibliotheque@univ-catholille.fr  or by sending a letter to the following address: Bibliothèque Universitaire Vauban – 60 rue du Pont – 59000 Lille.
